- Phonological Awareness- Continued to work on listening and rhyming skills
- Math- Students have learned about graphs, participated in graphing activities, and discussed data (terms: more, less, most, same)
- Small Groups- Sorting objects (buttons and bottle caps) by one or two attributes, Writing and letter knowledge through creating a Shoe Book, Introduction to the Dramatic Play "Shoe Store" in our classroom
During Week Four, we started a new theme and it is "Shoes." This may seem strange, but to four and five-year-olds shoes are exciting! We have been using the shoe theme across the curriculum and will continue with this theme for the next couple weeks. Some of the skills we worked on this past week include:
