This week we continued to learn about life on the farm and how machines help farmers. Students enjoyed listening to the story "Otis" this week. In Music class on Monday, we started to practice our holiday performance songs and it is just too cute!

Week thirteen was all about life on the farm! We explored animals, things that come from a farm, and connected our previous Pumpkin unit to help students understand where many food items come from. We started practicing our songs for the Holiday Show next month (date/time coming soon!) in Music Class this week. Some of the skills we worked on this past week include:
Week twelve was full of lots of learning and excitement with the Harvest Hike. our week was packed with math, literacy, and science skills. We explored pumpkins and used the pumpkins that were sent in for comparing and ordering from biggest to smallest. We used our senses to learn about and describe all parts of the pumpkin, letting students get their hands on the insides. We predicted whether they would sink or float using a prediction chart and tested our predictions. Other skills we learned/worked on this week include:
