This week we continued to learn about life on the farm and how machines help farmers. Students enjoyed listening to the story "Otis" this week. We had fun revisiting our Eric Carle Author Study by getting the opportunity to create artwork in Art class using his method of paint and a variety of tools. In Music class on Monday, we started to practice our holiday performance songs and it is just too cute! Skills that we have worked on this week include:
We welcomed two new friends into our class this week! Welcome, Adam and Nora!
We started our new Farm unit this week and students have enjoyed learning about life on the farm including the animals, the job of a farmer, the importance of farming. Students helped turn our Dramatic Play center into a barn by painting pieces of cardboard and using construction paper to create windows. Next week we will continue to learn about life on the farm and how machines help farmers. This week students worked on the following skills:
