Here is a peek of some of the things we did this week. During small groups this week, students practiced counting out objects using 1:1 correspondence while creating zip bag books, sorted objects by color, practiced identifying numerals and counting out sets of objects, created their own shoes, listened to the story "Rainbow Fish" and created a fish using watercolor paint, listened to rhyming words and took turns rolling the Rhyming Cube and came up with a word that rhymed with the picture that came up on top (cake, dog, chair, clock, glue, boat), practiced writing their name and explored letters using letter stamps. Other skills we worked on this week: This week we welcomed a new friend to our class! Welcome, Sophie!
