Phonological Awareness- syllables, rhyming, beginning sounds
Alphabet Knowledge- We have continued to work on handwriting skills through a "morning work" assignment where students use dry-erase markers to practice tracing their first and last names and rewriting their first and last names independently. We have also continued to practice letters on whiteboards
Math- Week 27 was filled with Dr. Seuss themed math activities. Students sorted and graphed goldfish in a One Fish, Two Fish math activity, practiced positional words in a Go Dog, Go themed lesson, and predicted whether or not they would like Green Eggs in Ham and then checked their predictions
