Second Step Social Skills- Solving problems
Small groups: Day/night sort, "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" and the different times of day/sun position
Science vocabulary- weather, wind, rain, cloud, lightning, thunder, storm
Phonological Awareness- Blending CVC words with the letters C, O, A, D, G, M, L, H, and T
Alphabet Knowledge- We introduced work on handwriting skills through a "morning work" assignment where students use dry-erase markers to practice tracing their first and last names and rewriting their first and last names independently.
Math- Ten frame math (quickly identifying sets using ten frame, representing numerals on the ten frame, and ten frame addition sentences)
